Pearl Harbor

The submarine memorial at Pearl Harbor.

The memorial to the USS Arizona, one of the many ships that was sunk on December 7, 1941, was built directly over the top of the sunken ship-- you can still see it just below the surface of the water.

Part of the USS Arizona-- only partially submerged.

The USS Arizona was refueled shortly before it was sunk-- gas and oil still leaks from the ship, although holes are frequently repaired.

The flag over the memorial. A beautiful day.
