Jess and I had great success with our GC infection of HeLa cells:

HeLa cells stained with Hema-3 stain

DAPI stain for cell nuclei

anti-GC antibody conjugated to Alexa-488 fluorophore...
the GC are the bright green dots and the Alexa binds non-specifically to give the HeLa cells a fainter green color

merged images show the HeLa cells with green cytoplasm and blue nuclei... bright green GC bind to the surface of the HeLa cells
